BV QueSt Announces 10/13/2007 Fall Homecoming Fundraiser
Did you ever wish you could be Homecoming Royalty like Sissy Spacek and William Katt in Carrie? Or leather-n-lace Sockhop Royalty like John Travolta and Olivia Newton John in Grease? Or perhaps a pairing of Sissy with Olivia and William with John is more your style. It makes no difference!
If you want to experience the Homecoming you never had, then mark your calendars for October 13, 2007, and come to BV QueSt’s second annual Fall Homecoming at the Halo Bar in beautifully redeveloped downtown Bryan, Texas. With a silent auction, outstanding homemade treats, and fantastic music, dancing, and performances, Fall Homecoming is the premiere scholarship fundraising event for the queer and queer-supportive community of the Brazos Valley.

Hours: 7:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Show: 9:00
Silent Auction: 7:00 PM - 10:30 PM, with results announced at 11:15 PM. Winning bidders do not have to be present.
Costumes: Optional, but Halloween is right around the corner.

You can’t have a Homecoming Party without “chaperons”, so please invite alumni, old friends, and former residents of the Brazos Valley. This party will be a Homecoming and a Reunion in one!
And all the merriment is for a good cause. Fall Homecoming is BV QueSt’s chief fundraiser for its scholarship fund. Since its inception, the scholarship fund has given thousands of dollars to outstanding students who have worked to make a positive difference in the queer/ally community.
And even if you can’t come to Fall Homecoming, you can still help: please forward this message to friends and supporters. BV QueSt is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is to host events celebrating and supporting queer and queer-supportive organizations in the Brazos Valley. Founded in 2003, BV QueSt has contributed thousands of dollars to OUTreach Grants, scholarships for students, and local queer/ally organizations. BV QueSt schedules its Fall Homecoming on the Saturday of, or the first Saturday after, National Coming Out Day.
